I just signed up as a Scrap Mountain Member. What happens next?
Once your membership is activated, you will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail with your billing/shipping information. (Should you notice any errors, please contact us immediately at admin@scrapmountain.com so that we can make the necessary changes.) Your membership will start with the current month's kit, unless we are sold out. If we are sold out, we will e-mail you letting you know, and you will begin receiving kits the following month.
Can I buy just one kit? Will I get the layout instructions with it? Yes and Yes. You are always welcome to buy a single kit (or previous kit) and the instructions for that kit will be e-mailed to you. It is very helpful if you fill out the membership application so that we can e-mail the instructions to you. However, it is not a requirement to join.
Do you ship internationally? Yes! We can ship internationally. If you would like to purchase a kit for destinations outside of the continental USA, please e-mail us at admin@scrapmountain.com with the kits you would like to order, and the destination city. We will send a PayPal invoice including actual shipping charges (generally around $23 for priority mail). You can pay the invoice within 3 business days and we will then ship within 1-2 days after receiving payment.
I need to cancel my membership. How can I do this?
If you decide to cancel your membership for any reason, you must contact us by the 5th of the month at admin@scrapmountain.com. If you have not completed your 6 months, you will be charged the difference of the subscription discount for each month subscribed. For example, you signed up for the subscription rate, but decided after 2 months of receivig kits that you need to cancel, you would be charged $3 for each of the 2 months you received subscription discounts, or $6 in this case.
We ship all of our domestic packages (including APO) via USPS Priority mail. We charge $6.50 for shipping on all of our domestic orders, and actual shipping for orders outside of the continental USA.
However if you are a local resident of Colorado Springs, CO or are in the area, and would like to attend our monthly workshops, you can choose classroom pick up option to avoid shipping costs.
How long does my Scrap Mountain Membership last?
You may choose either 1-month ($28) or 6-month ($25/month) membership. You may cancel you 6-month membership at any time, however, please see cancellation policy above for details.
Can I "skip" a month without affecting my membership status?
Yes, you can have up to 2 skips. You will need to e-mail us at admin@scrapmountain.com before the 5th of the month or before your card is charged to inform us you would like to skip, but hold your subscription rate.
On what day is my credit card billed each month?
Members will be billed on the same day of original purchase, every month following. If you sign up for a membership on the 12th of current month, your credit card will be billed on the 12th of each month for the duration of your membership.
What are your Terms and Conditions of Membership?
If you sign up for a 6-month subscription, your credit card will be billed and you will receive kits each month for 6 months. At the end of the 6-month period, we will send you a reminder that your subscription has expired and invite you to re-subscribe. We use PayPal for payment processing.
